Outdoor family sessions are all about connection, play, and those in-between moments that make your family you. I schedule these sessions about 1.5 hours before sunset when the light is soft and golden, wrapping up just as the sun dips below the horizon. That warm glow adds so much magic to your photos—something midday light just can’t replicate.
I know that in summer, starting at 6:30 pm might mean pushing bedtime a little later, but a photo session isn’t an everyday thing. If you can, plan for a quiet afternoon so the kids can rest. They’ll love the excitement of staying up a little past their usual bedtime, and I promise—we’ll turn it into an adventure they’ll remember.
If your family thrives in the early hours, I also offer sunrise sessions. The morning light has its own kind of magic, and it’s the perfect setting for a relaxed and candid family session. Just let me know what feels right for you.
For an in-home session, there’s no need for a picture-perfect space. Your home is where your family feels most at ease, where little feet run down the hallway and cuddles happen on the couch. A quick tidy-up—tucking away toys and clothes—is all that’s needed. We’ll find the best natural light, and trust me, even the simplest corner with a window can become the perfect backdrop for capturing the love that fills your home.
Once you’ve booked, I’ll share my best tips to help make your session feel effortless and fun. However we tell your story—whether it’s in the golden evening light, the quiet of sunrise, or the warmth of your home—I’m here to capture the moments that mean the most to you.
